I assume there will be more after Yosemite's release this fall. @Simone, Partha, Clayton: do you know more? Checking for chances in Yosemite at I think only the UI changes and some technical changes in the background (API changes) could have impact which are mainly topic for the gtk-mac-integration project. Im just learning and dont want to stuff it up. Can any of you comment on this?
Hmm, I don't know what exactly you mean. Can you please be a bit more concrete? If we'll find out more about GIMP's compatibility with Yosemite, we will post it at Kind regards, Sven. No, don't know anymore. However, looking at the preview (and I'll try and participate in the beta and test Gimp 2.9 on it). I am not anticipating that it'll be an radical redesign. I'll let you know. I don't think the gtk-mac-integration project is involved any more for developing gtk-osx apps. At least, I don't use it.

I'll let you know. It sounds like you are participating in the Apple Developer program. I don't think the gtk-mac-integration project is involved any more for developing gtk-osx apps. At least, I don't use it. We use it in GIMP 2.8 (see the osx-build branch and the integrated patches from Simone).

Simone also forked and updated gtk-mac-integration. It.might. become obsolete with the switch to GTK+ 3, but that's future and much can happen until then. Kind regards, Sven.

And I am confused by your response.:) But that can be me. What is confusing to the users or to you?

I updated Gimp to the latest git build and it works fine with Yosemite. This is not surprising to me since my builds are backward compatible up to Snow Leopard (10.6.8).
